Dance is immense fun and excellent for the body and the mind. Dance is a good form of exercise not only it has a positive impact on physical health but also sharpens mind (one has to remember the dance steps, thus exercising the brain).

Here are the few reasons why dance is good for you:

Dance is a good exercise and makes you fit
Dance is a great way to be in shape. The regular exercise regime can be made interesting and fun filled with dance.

Modern dance is one of the recent invention of American forms of dance. It has combination of moves and styles from several other dance forms. It is more emotionally expressive than classical ballet. The form evolved as a rebel against the rigidness of ballet.

Initially, the society did not appreciate this form but eventually it has grown and is now a very popular dance form. It has spread across the world now.

In addition to be expressive, this form is also popular as it can be a part of fitness regime. One can improve stamina and health by practicing this form. There are some dance schools across the world that includes the different types of modern dances in their curriculum.

There are different styles and forms of Modern dance like Broadway Dance, Jazz, Contemporary Dance.

On being asked What is dance, one gets to know that the word “Dance” is synonym to stream of words. To someone dance is a stress relief where as it is passion to other. It is creative outlet for someone whereas it is emotional outlet for other. Some people express dance as freedom where as there are people who use Dance as a way of handling life.

Dance may also be considered as a type of nonverbal interaction between individuals or other animals, like in bee dances and behavior prototypes such as mating dances.
Dance is the expression of essence through lines of the body and chaste movement.
A dancer regularly dances for the love of the movement, for the expedition after physical excellence, putting in long rigid hours in order to become proficient.
